  Maintenance, safety and felling tree up to guidebar length (380mm/15″). Covers snedding, crosscutting and hand takedown techniques for dealing with hung up trees. Training and assessment for NPTC Units CS 30 and 31.

  Maintenance of the chainsaw and crosscutting of timber. Training and assessment for NPTC Unit CS 30. This unit will allow you to progress through the NPTC range once it is successfully completed.

CS31 Felling Small Trees 3 Days £425.00
  Telling tree up to guidebar length (380mm/15�). Covers snedding, crosscutting and hand takedown techniques for dealing with hung up trees. Training and assessment for NPTC Unit CS 31. Candidates must already hold NPTC units 30.

CS32 Felling Medium Sized Trees 3 Days £475.00
  Felling of trees up to twice guidebar length (760mm/30�) in diameter. The course requires the pre-requisite units CS 30 and CS31. The course covers felling, snedding, takedown of hung up trees with hand winches. The training takes 3 days with a further day for the NPTC assessment.

CS33 Felling Large Trees 2 Days £395.00

CS34 Sever Individual Windblown Trees 1 Day £245.00
  Training and assessment in the clearing of individual wind thrown trees, which still have the root plates attached. This is an advanced course and applicants must already hold CS 32 (Felling Medium Size Trees) Price includes assessment for NPTC unit CS 34 Process individual windblown Trees (on second day).

CS48 Powered Pole Pruners (Experienced Chainsaw Operatives) 1 Day £225.00
  Covers maintenance, starting procedures, pruning cuts, PPE and safety considerations. Includes assessment for NPTC Unit CS 48. Candidates must already hold Unit CS30 as this is a shortened course/assessment. Third day can be arranged (potentially) for inexperienced operatives that don’t hold CS30 (increases cost to £325); call to discuss.

CS50 Techniques for dealing with storm damaged trees 2 Days £375.00
  New fast-track route to dealing with blown trees. Essentially the old CS34 module (but limited to trees under 18″ dia), where candidates must sever blown trees, restrain rootplates with winches, fell leaning trees and trees with broken crowns. Includes NPTC assessment for CS50. Candidates must already hold CS31. (NOTE: no need to hold CS32)
